Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic Muscat grapes were harvested by hand and de-stemmed before fermentation with the skins for 4 days in open top vats. Transferred into old oak barrels where the wine aged for 2 years. No fining, filtration or added sulphur. 

This Wine: Natural orange wine with great intensity and balance. Floral aromas with delicate notes of citrus peel, white peach and apricot. Best served with food. Only 800 bottles produced. 

Notes on the Winemaker: We fell in love with the wines of Uros Klabjan some years ago after being introduced to them by the importer during covid lockdown. The intensity and complexity of his black label range really gave us something to think about and provided a much needed escape. He works organically, very close to the Adriatic Sea which provides a maritime influence to this part of Slovenia.
