Winemaking: Organic grapes were harvested by hand. Pinot Gris underwent direct press whilst Muscat saw 8 days of maceration. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel. The wine was bottled before fermentation was complete in order to trap fizz inside (ancestral winemaking - pet nat).  No fining, filtration or added sulphur. 

This Wine: The third vintage of this orange sparkling wine from Maxime but this time Muscat replaces Sylvaner in the blend. This brings more aromatics to the party which we love! Bright orange in colour with textured body and juicy citrus / stone fruit flavours. All at a great price too!

Notes on the Winemaker: Maxime Woerly is situated on the Eastern slopes of the Voges mountains near the famous winemaking town of Dambach-La-Ville. His ancestors have worked this land since 1557 and in 2010 Maxime decided to move into organics and biodynamics.
