Winemaking: Biodynamic Nebbiolo grapes were harvested by hand. Just 1 night of maceration. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in concrete where the wine then aged for 30 months. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red wine with a light body. A delicate, chillable Nebbiolo but that doesn't mean it lacks in character or concentration. the extended barrel ageing has produced a wine with complex fresh fruits (strawberry, orange, cherry) and subtle rose aromas. This is made with a unique clone of the famous grape known as CN 111 Rosé. A real treat!

Notes on the Winemaker: Dierdre O'Brien & Maurizio Caffer previously lived in London before setting up a biodynamic farm in the Monferrato region of Piemonte, north west Italy. They make rustic and honest wines and it's great to see how much they champion local grape varieties that are sometimes on the verge of extinction.
