Winemaking: Organic grapes were harvested by hand. Short period of skin contact before fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tanks. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural rosé wine made from a blend of 3 grape varieties indigenous to Puglia. An explosion of fresh grapefruit, cranberries and minerals. Low alcohol and fresh acidity, perfect for the sun! Only 850 bottles produced.

Notes on the Winemaker: Vittorio Pugliese is a relative newcomer to the natural wine world but is already causing a stir. Situated down in Puglia, southern Italy, he is producing unique and expressive wines from local varieties in a juicy, drinkable style but still packed with minerals and complexity. His vineyards planted on red clay soils are located 300m above sea level which brings freshness to the wines in this warm part of the country and helps keep alcohol levels low. No use of additions in the cellar.
