Winemaking: Organic Pedrox Ximenez grapes were hand harvested and dried in the sun before being pressed and fermented with indigenous yeast. Bottled with very high residual sugar.

This Wine: A luscious sweet wine from the famous PX grape that is the perfect accompaniment to sweet desserts, especially when poured over ice cream.  

Notes on the Winemaker: Verdevique's vineyards are some of the highest in Europe, sitting between 1200-1400m above sea level by the Sierra Nevada near Granada. Winemaking has been the role of the Garcia family for generations and they grow indigenous grape varieties alongside organic almonds and figs in this unique climate right next to the Mediterranean Sea.
