Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic Petite Syrah grapes were harvested by hand. De-stemmed before fermentation with indigenous yeast for 2 weeks. Pressed into old barrels where the wine aged for 3 years. No fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red wine with a wild and electric character. Volatile acidity on the nose but followed by a more elegant side on the palate. Sour raspberry, tapenade and an earthy finish. Very unique. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Anders Frederick Steen & Anne Bruun Blauert hail from Denmark but settled in the Ardeche to focus on their winemaking dream in back in 2013. Since then they have become one of the most sought after names in the natural wine world. They produce wines that are honest and representative of this wild region. The pair don't look to recreate the same wine each vintage and instead adapt to whatever conditions a new year brings.
