This Wine: Natural red wine with a light body and high acidity. Hazy in the glass with a good kick red berries and red apple skin flavours followed by a touch of the grape variety's signature pepper kick on the finish. Delicate but deep flavours.
A PREVIOUS VINTAGE OF THIS WINE WAS VOTED AS THE BEST TASTING WINE AT A HIGHBURY LIBRARY WINE CLUB IN MARCH 2024
Notes on the Winemaker: Thierry Puzelat is a local legend in his region of Touraine in the Loire Valley and his domain Clos du Tue-Boeuf has been organic since 1996. His daughters Zoe and Louise are now taking over the reigns. The blend of grapes in each cuvée often differs year to year as do the wines themselves and that's just how we like it.
