Winemaking: Organic white grapes were harvested by hand. Some underwent direct press, others were macerated. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in a combination of steel tanks and old barrels. Aged on the lees. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural white wine made with a field blend of varieties and a combination of two different vintages. Bright acidity with soft and delicate notes of candied lemon, green apple, white flowers and a touch of smokiness. A wine you can share casually with friends of pair with food. 8000 bottles produced.

Notes on the Winemaker: Christine Pieroth produces natural wine under the Piri Naturel name in the small German region of Nahe, just north of Rheinhessen. Her family have been involved in viticulture here since the 18th century where they are blessed with a complexity of different soil types that can produce a variety of wine styles.
