Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic Pinot Blanc and Sylvaner grapes were harvested by hand. Fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel. Bottled before fermentation ended in order to create fizz in the bottle (Pet Nat, Ancestral Method). No dosage, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: 2020 was the first vintage that Yann decided to make a Pet Nat. Upon arrival in the UK it was a little too wild so has rested in cellar for a few years and is now tasting great! So a white sparkling wine with fresh fruit and floral flavours that represents a unique chance to jump back to Yann's 2020 vintage in Alsace. 

Notes on the Winemaker: The Durrmann family make wine the village of Andlau on the slopes of Vosges mountains in Alsace. The vineyards have been organic since 1998 and sulphur free cuvees have been produced since 2007 after Yann (the son) took over running the winery.
