Winemaking: Organic Pinot Grigio grapes from 70 year old vines grown on volcanic soils were harvested by hand. 2 days skin contact before fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel before ageing in fibreglass tanks. No fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Amazing old vine Pinot Grigio with a touch of maceration which results in a peachy coloured wine in the glass. Citrus fruits and red apple skin combine on the pallet with a refreshing mineral finish.

Notes on the Winemaker: Il Ceo means "The Kid" in the local dialect of Davide Andreatta. His mission is to recover and restore old vineyards in and around his local town of Breganze which is just north of Vincenza in Veneto.
