Winemaking: Organic Pinot Noir grapes were sourced from a friend. Semi carbonic maceration and fermentation with indigenous yeast for 2 weeks. Aged in old oak barrels. No filtration, fining or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red Burgundy made with grapes from near the Rully appellation. Light to medium body with a delicate and perfumed nature. Sour cherries, herbs and a hint of pepper, this is drinking very well in its youth but will certainly get better with age. 

Notes on the Winemaker:  Les Flaneurs is a new project by Welshman Laurence and Nina who is from Switzerland. They are currently purchasing organic fruit from areas of Burgundy but plan on acquiring their own vines as soon as possible. An exciting one to watch!
