Winemaking: Organic Pinot Noir grapes were harvested by hand. Semi-Carbonic maceration and fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in concrete eggs. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red wine that is still despite the crown cap. Very light body but with amazing concentration. Bright red cherry fruit dominates and is supported with a wonderful herbal character. Drink it slightly chilled but not too much. You don't want to lose the intensity of flavour on this Pinot Noir that punches above its price point. The name is inspired by David's time working at a winery in Australia. 

Notes on the Winemaker: The Domin & Kusicky Family produce natural wine in Velky Krtis. Viticulture has been recorded in this part of Slovakia as far back as the 14th century. David Kusicky took over as head winemaker after his studies in 2019 and is leading the domaine to biodynamic certification. He creates fun but very well made wines from a mixture of local and international grape varieties.
