Winemaking: Organic grapes were harvested by hand. Whole bunch maceration for 10 days and fermentation with indigenous yeast in a combination of steel and concrete vessels. No fining, filtration or added sulphur. 

This Wine: Natural rosé wine, dark pink in the glass. Loads of juicy fresh fruit with herbal and peppery notes. A lot of fun but some really nice complexity too. 9.5% lunchtime drinking!

Notes on the Winemaker: He produces wines under his own Mountain People label but now Dave Morris has teamed up with George Price to create the Cowboys Don't Have Curls natural wine project. The fruit comes from Mayland vineyard in Somerset (owned by George) and the wines we have tried are excellent, showing ripe and complex flavours despite being low in alcohol. Looking forward to what lies ahead!
