Winemaking: Organic grapes grown on volcanic soils were harvested by hand before de-stemming. 3 days of skin contact. Fermentation with wild yeast in stainless steel. Aged for 12 months in tank. No fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural wine that sits somewhere on the spectrum between white and orange. Lemon, white peach and melon fruit alongside delicate floral notes and refreshing minerals. The short maceration period brings a lovely texture to the wine. Great by itself or with a light dish. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Trish Nelson hails from Australia and travelled the world before falling in love with natural wine. Her passion led her to work with some of Italy's biggest names before settling near one of her inspirations, Le Coste, on the shores of Lake Bolsena in Lazio. The volcanic soils along with the temperate microclimate make this a wonderful place for viticulture, something that can be experienced when you taste the Gazzetta wines.
