This Wine: Riesling from a single vineyard that displays all the classic notes associated with this grape variety. Lemon, lime, white flowers and a mineral-like petrol note. Also a hint of influence from the oak barrels. Complex and best served with food.
Notes on the Winemaker: Maxime Woerly is situated on the Eastern slopes of the Voges mountains near the famous winemaking town of Dambach-La-Ville. His ancestors have worked this land since 1557 and in 2010 Maxime decided to move into organics and biodynamics.
