Winemaking: Organic Riesling grapes from a single plot were harvested by hand. Fermented in old oak barrels with indigenous yeast. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.

This Wine:  Natural white wine made with Riesling grapes from one of the Brand Brother's best plots (known as Hill of Flags). Light in alcohol but full on flavour! Beautiful acidity compliments tropical and stone fruits with a mineral back bone running throughout. A pure expression of one of our favourite grape varieties that can pair with spicy food dishes wonderfully. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Daniel and Jonas Brand hail from Pfalz where they took over their family winery in 2014 to concentrate on fully natural wines (with the exception being Riesling Vom Berg which is more conventional). Their wines are unique, alive and bursting with personality. We visited in 2018 to explore the vineyards and learn the stories that accompany the wines.
