Winemaking: Organic Riesling, Sylvaner and Auxerrois grapes were hand harvested underwent direct press before fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in a combination of old barrels and fibreglass tanks. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural white wine with a medium body. Fresh citrus and minerals with some subtle floral notes. Easy drinking but with some nice complexity making it a wine that works well with or without food.

Notes on the Winemaker: Léo Dirringer produces natural wine in the village of Dambach-la-Ville where he took over his family winery in 2017. He had recently worked in the south of France and Switzerland where he was inspired to make wines according to the natural philosophy with biodynamic farming techniques and he manages to do this whilst keeping his cuvées at affordable prices.
