Winemaking: Organic Savagnin grapes grown on grey marl soils were harvested by hand. Whole bunch direct press and fermentation with indigenous yeast in old barrels. Aged in barrel before bottling with no filtration, fining or added sulphur. 

This Wine: Natural white wine made in the topped up method (non-oxidative). Full bodied with amazing ripeness and richness. Complex minerals and fruit with some spicy notes. Best served with cheese or fish. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Jean-Baptiste Menigoz is a natural winemaker in the village of Arbois who learnt some of his skills working at the great Stéphane Tissot. He works alongside Florien Kleine Snuverink, farming 7 hectares of vines spread across the Arbois and Côtes du Jura appellations. Like many winemakers, the simple mission is to make wines they enjoy drinking.
