Winemaking: Organic Savagnin grapes were hand harvested and spontaneously fermented on the skins with indigenous yeast in Georgian amphora vessels buried underground.  Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.

This Wine: A special skin contact cuvée from Tony Bornard! Rich and round wine showing a beautiful amber colour in the glass. Citrus and stone fruits are the focus with a complex array of spices. Pair with food!

Notes on the Winemaker: Philippe Bornard founded his domain in 2005 in the Jura village of Pupillin. The wines he produced became iconic, both for their striking orange fox labels and their wild, expressive character. Philippe retired in 2017 and his son Tony took over the running of the winery after combining it with his own smaller operation to achieve 11 hectares of vines.
