Winemaking: Organic Scheurebe grapes were harvested by hand and fermented spontaneously. Bottled before this process was over in order to trap fizz inside the bottle (Pet Nat - Ancestral winemaking technique). No fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural sparkling wine made from the a local grape, Scheurebe. 2022 provided the perfect conditions for this variety which encouraged Andi to produce a one-off Pet Nat. Thirst quenching and low in alcohol, this is full of tropical fruit and has a great texture. Enjoy with friends!

Notes on the Winemaker: Andi Weigand is a new young winemaker in Bavaria, Germany, not too far from 2Naturkinder. He took over from his father in 2015 and by 2018 was producing entirely natural wines with the support of his open-minded parents. he enjoys experimenting with skin contact and different fermentation vessels.
