Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic Syrah grapes were harvested by hand. Fermented with indigenous yeast in fibreglass tanks. No filtration, fining or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red wine which is medium to full bodied but still has a fresh acidity running through. Some meaty notes balanced nicely with more delicate aromas of dried flowers. The heaviest cuvée that Sebastien produces.

Notes on the Winemaker: Sebastien Agelet previously sold his family's grapes to the local co-op until 2012 when he decided to take matters into his own hands. He is situated in the Hautes Corbières region of Roussillon where it is hot and dry but strong winds from the Pyrenees help retain freshness and acidity in the grapes. His wines are precise but full of life and energy.
