Winemaking: Organic Syrah & Cabernet Franc grapes were harvested by hand. Whole bunch fermentation with indigenous yeast. Pressed into a combination of stainless steel tanks and old barrels where the wine ages for for 8 months. No fining, filtration or added sulphur. 12000 bottles produced

This Wine: Natural red wine in a litre format. This is fresh and easy drinking with red fruit notes and a touch of vanilla and spice. A real bargain.

Notes on the Winemaker: Edgar Brutler produces natural wine in the Cristana region of Transylvania, Romania. He works with both international and indigenous grape varieties in his old cellar and honours the traditions of his family that have made wine in this part of Europe since they immigrated from Germany in the mid19th Century.
