Winemaking: Organic Syrah and Grenache grapes were a harvested by hand. Whole bunch semi-carbonic maceration and fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in cement vessels. Bottled with no fining, filtration or added sulphur.

This Wine: Natural red wine with a medium body balanced with fresh acidity. With great balance of fruit and savoury notes, think Cherry Bakewell, this feel like the perfect, easy drinking bottle for a dark Autumn evening. With zero sulphur additions, it's hard to find this quality at this price point.

Notes on the Winemaker: Located in the Domaine des Vigneaux is run by Hélène and Christophe Comte who converted to organic farming in the 1990s. By 2009 they had achieved biodynamic certification so are considered true pioneers in this region. They are committed to keeping their wines affordable and accessible to as many drinkers as possible which is very admirable.
