Producer: Davide Xodo
Region: Colli Berici, Vicenza, Veneto, Italy
Wild Scale: 3/5
Vegan friendly wine

Winemaking: Organic Tai Rosso and Syrah grapes were harvested by hand. C o-fermented for 10 days on the skins with indigenous yeast and aged in steel tanks for 10 months. No fining or filtration and just a small amount of sulphur added.
This Wine: Natural red wine with a light body. Aromatic with juicy red and blue fruit followed by a herbal finish, this is wonderful. A special cuvée dedicated to Davide's cousin Masaki who is from Japan and came up with the idea to blend these two grape varieties. Only 1500 bottles produced.
Notes on the Winemaker: Davide Xodo learnt winemaking in Bierzo and Chianti Classico before returning to his homeland in Vicenza to start his own project back in 2018. He works five hectares of vines and produces perfectly balanced wines that are fresh and fruit-forward. In September 2025, we visited his beautiful winery that looks out over the Colli Berici and were treated to an awesome BBQ!
