Winemaking: Organic grapes were harvested by hand. Each variety was fermented separately with the skins and indigenous yeast for 1 week in a combination of steel and concrete tanks. No filtration or fining and just a touch of added sulphur on bottling.

This Wine: "All Purpose" is a side project of Il Farneto created to produce great value, everyday table wines still made with low intervention and within the natural wine philosophy. This is a biodynamic red wine with a light to medium body and fruity, juicy flavours. 

Notes on the Winemaker: Il Farneto is a winery situated in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna between Reggio Emilia and Modena. The 35 hectare farm was established in the 90s according to organic principles and is now run by Tomasso Turci and Marco Bertoni who have adopted biodynamic techniques in recent years. The wines are made using local grape varieties and always offer amazing value for money.
