New Arrivals from Ham Street

If you are a regular reader, Lucie and Jules over at Ham Street need no introduction but if you're not then this is for you; Farming organically and biodynamically down in Kent, they’re one of only six certified biodynamic vineyards in the UK. They work in union with nature under the conditions that each different vintage brings whilst making zero unnecessary interventions in the cellar. The result? Wines that are expressive, authentic, and completely alive.

We’ve just received their latest releases so here is an quick overview;

Ham Street – Col Fondo Meunier 2024

Col Fondo Meunier 2024 Pinot Ham Street English Organic Natural Sparkling Wine Jools Lucie Hamstreet Kent England UK

Hand-harvested biodynamic Pinot Meunier fermented with indigenous yeast. Originally intended for a traditional method sparkling, Lucie and Jules loved its vibrant character so much they pivoted to an unfiltered Col Fondo style instead. Left on its lees with no added sulphur or disgorgement, it’s textured, mineral, and bursting with red fruit. Unusually elegant for a Col Fondo, and potentially a one-off cuvée! Only 905 bottles produced.

Ham Street – Bacchus 2024

De-stemmed and given 7 days of maceration, the skin contact rounds off Bacchus’s hyper-intense aromatics, leaving behind a beautifully refined, structured glass. Still packed with grapefruit and elderflower, but held together with a clean, stony mineral line. 656 bottles produced.

Big Bottles for Big Fun: Pet Nat Magnums

We also received two magnums (1.5L) of their sparkling 2025 wines. Made in tiny quantities, these are pure English summer in a bottle—juicy, low-ABV, and made without any additions whatsoever.

Ham Street – Bacchus Pet Nat 2025 (Magnum)

A tropical yet bright, mineral-driven sparkling skin-contact Bacchus bottled mid-fermentation using the ancestral method. In a 1.5L format, this is perfect for a sunny afternoon in the park or a big garden lunch.

Ham Street – Pinot Noir / Bacchus / Meunier Pet Nat 2025 (Magnum)

Ham Street Pet Nat 2025 magnum Pinot Noir Bacchus Meunier English Organic Natural Sparkling Wine Hamstreet Kent England UK

Hand-harvested, foot-crushed, and co-fermented—this blend of red (Pinot Noir & Meunier) and white (Bacchus) grapes hits that sweet spot between a deep rosé and a super-chilled, bubbly light red. Low in alcohol (10.4%), energetic, and dangerously easy to drink.

Because these magnums were made in such tiny quantities, we only have one or two sitting on the shelves. Pop by Highbury Library to grab one, or click the links above to secure yours online.

Happy drinking!

Andrew
