New from Peltier Ravineau
Since we first wrote about Peltier Ravineau back in August 2025, we have fallen in love with the wines so much, we been to visit them twice! Last week, Achille, one half of the winemaking duo, was in town and came to present his wines at Highbury Library Wine Club.

(View of the vineyard in July 2026)
It was great to welcome him to the neighbourhood and I introduced the night by explaining how I excited I was when my friend and wine importer Alex told me he had a new producer from the village of Cheverny, in the Loire Valley. Having been a huge fan of Clos du Tue Boeuf and Hervé Villemade for many years, I compared it to finding out your favourite record label had just signed a new artist, or Arsenal announcing the signing of Thierry Henry's son. Something like that, anyway!

Now on their third vintage, the Peltier Ravineau wines are really shining and are still affordably priced. For me they achieve a beautiful balance of precision and rusticity. The purity of fruit lets you know how well the grapes have been farmed and that the wines have been allowed to evolve naturally in the cellar.

After the success of Thursday's Wine Club, I took Achille to the Arsenal game on Saturday and then we drank the night away in Duck Soup. The future looks bright for him and the Peltier Ravineau project and I would encourage you to see for yourself by checking out the following wines that we currently have in stock
