New Gems from Alice & Olivier De Moor

New Gems from Alice & Olivier De Moor

It is always incredibly exciting to get our hands on new wines from the De Moors. Alice & Olivier have garnered a reputation for creating elegant wines of great purity in the village of Courgis, just south of Chablis. Production levels are small meaning they have become very sought after over the years.

We have just received the following and also have an extensive selection of back vintages and other rare cuvées available here

l'Humeur de Temps Chablis 2023

A rarely seen cuvée on these shores but one of our favourites. This comes from different plots around Chablis and is intended to reflect the vintage of the region as a whole rather than one specific terroir. Slightly wilder (by the De Moor standards) but beautifully balanced.  Such an amazing intensity of minerals and citrus and so much energy. We are very lucky to get our hands on a few bottles so don't hesitate!

Le Vendangeur Masqué - Le Même Azimut 2024

Made with organic fruit from Alsace, this is a blend of Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Blanc and Muscat. Aromatic and floral, this is a real bargain and great opportunity to sample the De Moor winemaking skills without breaking the bank.

Le Vendangeur Masqué - Bourgogne Blanc 2024

Made with organic Chardonnay grapes purchased from neighbouring growers, this finds the balance of full and fresh really well. Balanced acidity and a lovely texture. Ages very well too.

These are the perfect wines to drink in the spring sunshine so what are you waiting for?

Happy drinking!
