Leisure Wine

Leisure Wine is the project of 2 friends, Sam Garbutt and Van Moschopoulos who combined their passions for natural wine and simply wanted to have a go themselves. They didn't let the lack of a vineyard get in their way and have been able to source high quality fruit from the UK and Italy so far. For a couple of years they had a permanent winery on the Old Kent Road and in 2021 released their first ever wine Custard Creams Fell Like Lightning. Despite having no sulphur additions, the wine was incredibly clean and balanced which shows amazing promise for these young winemakers. Now working out of other English wineries, the long term goal is to produce wines from their own fruit.
