Mai & Kenji Hodgson work 4 hectares of vines in Rablay-Sur-Layon. They met in Vancouver before studying winemaking in Japan, eventually settling in this area of the Loire valley. Their wines are impeccably made without any additions and have developed a cult-like following over recent years. The particularly sought after Chenin Blanc cuvées are all about complexity, structure and power and get better and better with time.
