Vegan friendly wine
Winemaking: Organic Barbera and Ruché grapes were hand harvested and de-stemmed. Fermented separately in cement tank with indigenous yeast. The wines are then combined and aged in a combination of different vessels for 9 months. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.
This Wine: Natural red wine with a medium to full body. Classic Barbera notes of rich black fruit are complimented by the more delicate and aromatic characteristics of Ruché. A rustic table wine that takes us straight to the hills of Piedmont.
Notes on the Winemaker: Nadia Verrua comes from a family of winemakers who have been growing grapes in the hills of Monferrato for over 100 years. She now produces absorbing, rustic wines that burst with Piedmontese character.
